Who We Are
We are explorers, gifted with a thirst for adventure and governed by an ethical code. We are lovers of nature and the ways in which we are nurtured by it. Allow us to take you on a journey you will never forget.
We are Ceylon Wild Safaris.
Our experience spans jungles from Africa to Asia. We are professionals who take great pleasure in what we do, and we would very much love to share our passion and our jungle home with you.
Our Camp
What It's Like
The buffer-zone jungles of Yala National Park hold a secret which until now has been hidden, but we are ready to share this secret with you and this is none other than the CWS campsite. Nestled in the buffer zone forests which border the national park, our camp will transport you into a world unlike any other.
The camp is a fusion of simplicity and wild luxury that has been woven seamlessly with the surrounding environment. Each of our six tents are spacious and comfortable providing the ultimate relaxation after a long day of safari.
A highlight is the plunge pool in each tent, which during the heat of the day, allows one to cool off in their “wallow”.
What We Offer
"A tailor made experience to harmonise ones’ soul with true nature”
The experiences for our guests are designed based on ones' preferences and desires. Some enjoy the bugs and the birds while others prefer the big cats and the pachyderms.
Our experiences are all inclusive. We provide everything including accommodation, all meals and snacks, drinks from our well stocked bar, two game drives per day, national park fees and taxes.
The guiding team at Ceylon Wild Safaris are all experienced wildlife photographers. In pursuit of passion we would be happy to provide a customized experience for those in search of the perfect photographic opportunity.
Sustainable Tourism
We strongly believe in the code of ethics within the tourism industry and our biggest passion is conservation. Ceylon Wild Safaris is designed with the highlighted concept of sustainability. Currently, planet Earth is threatened by global warming, so many nature reserves both in and out of Sri Lanka are threatened by deforestation and much of the world’s oceans are continuously being destroyed by plastics. Our team believe it’s time to step up, and lead in the safari tourism industry in Sri Lanka as the pioneers of experiential and truly sustainable tourism.
