The Camp
The camp is situated on an 18 acre plot of wilderness land but in order to reduce our footprint we have isolated our camp utilization to less than 2 acres. This allows us to continue our reforestation project on land which was previously used for farming and “chena” cultivation. Our camp has the following amenities to make your stay with us a memorable one.

WHERE ARE WE SITUATED?
A smooth 4 hour drive from the commercial capital of Colombo, Ceylon Wild Safaris is nestled by the Kotchipathana Lake of Yala. We are a mere 25 minutes from the Katagamuwa entrance to Block I of the Yala National Park, which is a more secluded, less used area of the otherwise crowded block. We are also 45 minutes away from Block III and V, areas that are almost completely ignored because of their distance from most camps and resorts, but thrive with animal and plant life nonetheless.
